- Monitor preventive maintenance logs and checklists as required.
- Schedule and oversee the work of external contractors when necessary.
- Procure tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain equipment and warehouse security.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks related to PSM and maintenance.
- Establish work procedures to meet company needs.
- Prepare department budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Foster a collaborative work environment and provide leadership.
- Conduct colleague evaluations and enforce safety rules.
- Manage daily staffing levels and assist in maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Four years of supervisory maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in facilities equipment, especially ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Electrical and energy management system knowledge.
- Strongly prefer bilingual in Spanish.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to plan, analyze numerical data, and follow procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge and PLC understanding.
- Mathematical proficiency.
- Material handling equipment certification required.
- Prefer electrical and refrigeration license/certificate.
- Required to complete Ammonia Refrigeration Operator II certification.
