Job Description

Are you ready to advance your career in commercial construction? PROCON, New Hampshire's leading design-build commercial construction firm, is expanding, and we want you to grow with us as our newest Project Accountant

Responsibilities:

Manage project budgets by processing and accounting for all billing invoices for assigned projects.
Maintain records of the General Contractor's payment applications and invoices.
Handle contract administrative tasks such as project folder setup, maintaining filing systems, data entry of purchase orders & change orders, and document scanning and faxing.
Assist in project close-out procedures.
Ensure compliance with annual master agreements, licenses, and insurance verifications.

Qualifications

Proficiency in developing budgets and standard accounting practices.
Ability to review contract documents.
Strong relationship-building skills with General Contractors.
3+ years of experience in the construction industry.
Exceptional organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
Effective communication abilities across all levels, including subcontractors, peers, Project Managers, and Vice Presidents.
Proficient computer skills: familiarity with Timberline/Sage preferred.
