The AWO Rudolstadt is a modern social enterprise providing social services for children, youth, seniors, socially disadvantaged individuals, and people with disabilities. We are one of the largest employers in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district. Founded in November 1990, our company now has over 500 employees in 24 facilities and projects.

As a recognized welfare association active in all areas of social work, we are looking to fill the position of Professional Head of Speech Therapy (m/f/d) at our newly opened interdisciplinary health center, starting immediately.

The interdisciplinary health center of AWO Rudolstadt opened in April 2021. It offers the therapeutic disciplines of occupational therapy, speech therapy, podiatry (medical foot care), and cosmetic foot care under one roof. The combination of services benefits both patients and their families, as well as the therapists themselves.

To expand our interdisciplinary services, we are currently seeking a colleague who is interested in combining speech therapy with the possibilities of occupational therapy treatment.

Your tasks

  • Diagnosis and therapy of speech and hearing disorders in children and adults
  • Conceptualization, implementation, monitoring, and documentation of therapy sessions
  • Establishment of the speech therapy department in our health center, with a focus on tracheostomy management
