This is a three-week temporary contract that ends on June 7, 2024. The working hours are from [8:00 AM to 5:00 PM], Monday to Friday. I need to fill this position ASAP.
Duties:
- Use of weed eater
- Use of chainsaws and pole saws
- Picking up sticks, logs, and downed tree debris
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Use hand tools for tasks such as pruning, weeding, and raking
- Assist with tree trimming and removal as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas
Experience:
- Previous experience in landscaping or related field preferred but not required
- Familiarity with various plants, trees, and flowers
- Knowledge of proper use and maintenance of power tools and equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Note:
All positions are contractor 1099 positions. Pay is at the end of each work week.
Note:
This job is labor intensive. We are a forestry company, and we deal with trees and tree debris. This is not mowing lawns.
This is in Clarksville, MD. You must be on time and be able to take your own transportation.
The workday starts at 8 am
Two 15-minute breaks
One 30-minute Lunch
The work day ends at 5 pm
