Description

Due to continued company growth, Grand Appliance and TV is seeking an experienced Buyer / Inventory Analyst. This person will be responsible for purchasing, category management, inventory productivity, fill rates and supplier performance.

The position is
located
in
our
Sturtevant, WI office and warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational purchasing.
Inventory transfers and product allocation to maximize customer fill rates.
Problem solving to support internal customers.
Tactical & Strategic purchasing.
Monitor the KPI and targets.
Set up annual price negotiations with suppliers.
Explore and capture opportunities to align purchasing efforts to companies' strategic direction.
Continuous improvement.
Plan and implement initiatives for reduction of cost of goods and services.

Required Experience and Competencies:

Bachelor's Degree (Business, Information Systems or Supply Chain preferred).
Minimum 3 to 5 years of purchasing, Inventory management or related experience.

Advance Excel Skills

VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, etc.
Proven ability to develop and maintain positive employee relations, work cross functionally and maintain positive outside vendor relations.
Ability to deliver clear messages to all levels of the organization.
