The Placement Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the placement of Early Childhood Substitute Teachers in various early educational programs or settings, such as preschools, daycares, or Early Head Start and Head Start programs
The duties will include:

Placement Matching:

Implements the logistics of substitute placement to ensure high quality and efficiency. This involves considering factors such as location, scheduling, teacher qualifications, and special accommodations.

Communication:

Serving as a liaison between substitutes and educational institutions to facilitate smooth transitions and address any concerns or questions that may arise before, during, or after placement.

Collaboration:

Working closely with teachers, directors, and other staff/facility members to coordinate placement efforts and ensure that substitute teachers receive the support and resources they need to succeed in their educational environment.

Data Management:

Maintaining accurate records of Substitute Teachers placement decisions, assignment details, schedules and hours worked for reporting purposes.

Policy Compliance:

Ensuring that placement processes adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and institutional policies.

Continuous Improvement:

Monitoring placement outcomes and soliciting feedback from Directors/Site Supervisors to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhancing the placement experience for client satisfaction.


Overall, the role of a Placement Coordinator involves facilitating the placement process to ensure that each Substitute Teacher is placed in an educational environment that meets the sites needs and to support substitute's development and learning goals.


Requirements:


  • AA Degree preferred
  • At least oneyear supervisory experience
  • Proven experience in early education/education, recruitment, sales or customer service
  • Knowledge of early education market and experience with Head Start preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, IT & administrative skills, accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and deliver exceptional customer outcomes
  • Bilingual is a plus
