Description
RMS Companies, a Connecticut based real estate development company, is seeking a full-time Assistant Property Manager/ Leasing who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and customer service oriented.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment of a new community in Hartford, CT. This position directly reports to the Property Manager.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Processes residential rent payments.
- Reviews monthly delinquencies and communicates with residents when rent has not been received.
- Acts as a liaison between maintenance and residents, ensuring service requests are completed timely and effectively.
- Maintains property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, ensuring vacancies are clean and always ready to tour.
- Recommends rental rate changes to Property Manager by surveying local competition and keeping up with local market trends.
- Provides excellent customer service to prospects, current residents and vendors.
- Maintains property by investigating and resolving resident complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units
- Meet with prospective tenants and provide highquality leasing services
- Track and organize the entire lease process, utilizing leasing and property management software
- Implement and monitor marketing and promotional initiatives
- Interact and engage the local community, attend local events, build relationships
- Monitor the building for maintenance needs and communicate to the Property Manager
- Act as a brand ambassador and representing the RMS experience.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years leasing experience required
- Positive energy and willingness to learn is a must
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Training will be provided

$ $24.00 per hour
