Job DescriptionJob Purpose:
As an Enterprise Account Executive you will be responsible for fostering strategic, long lasting partnerships while driving sales using an array of prospecting activities with existing customers and new prospects.
Account Executives will be the primary contact for all communications directly with the clients and prospects, understand their individual needs, and recommend products or services that maximize value.
The ideal candidate will design and deliver live sales presentations to prospective clients, develop relationships with individual businesses, promote your positions within the community and position the altafiber brand as key components of the sales strategy.
The Enterprise Account Executive will develop and utilize sales plans and strategies to economically reach sales goals.Essential Functions:
Driving all aspects of the sales process to specific customers within the assigned sales territory and build senior level relationships (C-level, VP, Director) within existing client accounts and new prospective organizationsProfessionally and effectively communicate solutions to existing customers and new prospects through presentations, written proposals, RFP responses, and regular business correspondence.
Constantly refresh insight, knowledge, and understanding of IT technology industry, solutions, and strategies, Investigate, research, and seek information that will lead to a successful sales strategy that creates a selling advantage for a targeted opportunity.
Retains customer base by delivering a superior customer experience.Maintains and builds customer relationships to drive customer retention; works with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels that meet and exceed customer expectations through strong customer service orientation with excellent follow up.
Comprehend and apply sales strategies and solutions to develop existing customer and new prospect business development plans Link and apply IT technologies to identified and targeted business outcomes for existing customers and new prospectsCreate sound financial proposals that meet internal business expectations and win deals with Collaboration and teamwork in the execution of all assignments, roles, and responsibilitiesEngage key vendors to develop joint account and market development opportunities leading to new solutions and revenue sourcesMaintains accurate and quality sales records and prepares sales and activity reports, as required.
Attends out-of-office meetings with customers on a regular basis and demonstrates excellent verbal and written skills and skill in presenting, persuading and negotiating.
Education:
Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Relevant Work Experience: 5 to 7 years in related field 5 to 10 years of B2B Sales Experience and Thrives in Competitive EnvironmentSpecial Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 5+ years of IT industry solution selling experience with a proven track record of overachievement of assigned financial goals Ability to engage with prospects, understand their pain points and challenges and find areas where our organization can provide solutions Ability to qualify prospect opportunities in order to decide if further investment in time is warranted Proficient at learning new technology and the ability to effectively demonstrate it in a Sales setting A practical, adaptable, innovative, collaborative, and solution-focused approach to issues Strong ability to be self-directed regarding learning and discovery Strong use of CRM tools for planning and executing business plans Excellent verbal and written communication skills and planning/scheduling abilities.
Excellent computer skills, comfort with technology, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products. Current Relationship and business a plus, but not necessary.Supervisory Responsibility:
While the Enterprise Account Executive does not have direct reports, managing multiple support resources and overlays is critical to success.
