Job Title:
Logistic Coordinator

Location:
Providence, RI 02907

Responsibilities

  • Package up and ship out 3000 old obsolete computers to an ewaste service
  • Get inventory under control
  • Rebuild some new processes around managing min / max supply levels
  • Create a hybrid supply chain model where some assets may not physically be onsite and may be distributed directly by 3rd party suppliers.
  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
  • Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
  • Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
  • Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
  • Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management

Skills

  • Proven experience as logistics coordinator
  • Experience in customer service will be appreciated
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Computersavvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract


Pay:
$20.00 per hour
