We are seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor/Servicer to join our team The primary duties of the position are being responsible for the timely and accurate processing/funding/booking of all types lending products.

This position will effectively communicate loan and procedural information to existing and potential members of the credit union.


The scope:
Properly prepare files for scanning, entry into the system, and proper storage. Ability to assume responsibility, display initiative, exercise good judgment. Prepare release documents, follow-up with staff, request missing documentation/signatures from members. Validating loan data, examining documentation, identifying potential risk for underwriter review, and fulfilling approved transactions within delegated authority. Assist the staff in the day-to-day responsibilities that they have to facilitate the loan request from start to finish. Answers phone calls and meets with members to discuss mortgage loans.

Liaison to Loan Officer/Originator to facilitate new member loans, gather member documents for packaging loans for underwriting and be an active contact for members during the mortgage process.

First point of contact for originating member equity loans and equity lines of credit.


Skills:
Excellent computer skills; knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet functions. Thorough understanding of loans, loan system, and Encompass system is a plus. Must be able to work with a significant amount of detailed information in an accurate, timely, and confidential manner. High level of interpersonal skills to interact with members and potential members in a professional manner. Ability to multi-task between officers and support staff.
