    Our client is a premier privately held commercial landscaping maintenance company. They are a nationwide network of brands boasting an exceptional culture. Our client currently has partner firms across various regions, including Florida, Georgia, and Ohio. Our affiliates specialize in providing recurring landscape upkeep services to corporate complexes, educational institutions, business parks, shopping plazas, light manufacturing facilities, and community associations.

    Senior Accountant Position Overview

    Our client is currently searching for a Senior Accountant to join our accounting division. The Senior accountant will be tasked with maintaining financial records and reports, conducting account reconciliations, overseeing accounts receivable/accounts payable documentation, and aiding in budgeting and closing procedures.

    Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

    • Maintenance of financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
    • Preparation of journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations, and assistance with month end close.
    • Documentation upkeep for accounts receivable, accounts payable, procurement, and treasury.
    • Execution of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Contribution to the development of annual operating budgets and performance forecasts.
    • Adhering to processing and reporting deadlines.
    • Responsiveness to information requests and review of financial statements.
    • Aid to the Corporate Controller with payroll assistance.

    Qualifications Of the Senior Accountant:

    • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • 2+ years of accounting experience.
    • CPA certification preferred.
    • Advanced Excel proficiency including V-Lookups & Pivot Tables.
    • Experience in ADP a +.
