    Description


    We are working with a client in the Orlando area that is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

    This is a newly created position and a great opportunity to join a stable company that you can grow with


    Onsite first 60 days and then will transition to a hybrid schedule.


    Senior Accountant Job Responsibilities:
    Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and cash flow projections for review by management and stakeholders.
    Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, escrow funds, and security deposits.

    Assist in the annual budgeting process by providing historical data, analyzing trends, and identifying opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.

    Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate year-end audits and tax filings.
    Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
    Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements to streamline accounting workflows and enhance efficiency and accuracy


    Senior Accountant Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

    Minimum of 3+ years of experience in property accounting or real estate finance, with a demonstrated progression of increasing responsibility.

    Proficiency in real estate accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with Yardi or Oracle is a plus.
