Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. The Medical Scribe will work closely with Dr. Kurt Heiland to accurately document patient encounters in real-time. Dr. Heiland is a top-rated ENT physician /surgeon and has been serving patients in the valley for 27 years.
Responsibilities:
- Transcribe medical charting and documentation during patient visits.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to update patient histories, physical exams, and other pertinent information.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
- Assist in navigating electronic medical records (EMR) systems efficiently.
- Manage administrative tasks to support healthcare providers.
Skills:
not required but a bonus, no Experience is necessary
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge.
- Strong understanding of medical documentation systems.
- Ability to transcribe quickly and accurately.
- Knowledge of physiology and medical office procedures.
At minimum, the scribe will be expected to be in office when physician is in clinic which is Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
- which you will be expected to aid in Medical Assistant duties when you are not scribing.
