What does this job involve?

As a specialist for warehouse logistics, you will receive goods of all kinds and check their quantity and condition based on accompanying documents.

You will organize the unloading of goods, sort them, and store them properly in designated areas. You will ensure that the goods are stored under optimal conditions, regulating factors such as temperature and humidity. In the outgoing goods department, you will plan delivery routes and determine the most cost-effective shipping method. You will assemble deliveries, pack the goods, and create accompanying documents such as delivery notes or customs declarations. Additionally, you will load trucks, operate forklifts, and secure the cargo against shifting or leaking. Furthermore, specialists for warehouse logistics optimize the internal flow of information and materials from procurement to sales.
