Our citrus can be found in all channels of distribution, with our consumer brands most visible in the produce department of grocery stores across America under the flagship consumer brands of Wonderful Halos mandarins and Wonderful Sweet Scarletts Texas Red grapefruit.

Job Description

Overview:
We are an entrepreneurial driven, fast paced organization that requires incorporating highly trained and motivated individuals onto our teams.

This is a unique opportunity for someone analytical and creative that wants to add value by bringing his/her innovative ideas to the business.

We're looking for those who can easily navigate ambiguity, collaborate with multiple departments across geographic regions, and establish strong relationships with stakeholders to drive results.

This position is based in Delano, CA and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The role will require travel.

Here's what you'll do:
Lead a global procurement organization focused on managing costs, standardizing processes, and servicing internal customers.
Analyze business plans, production environments, and supply requirements to determine optimal sourcing strategies across geographies and commodities.
Determine and recommend alternate supply strategies to create cost savings and/or supply support solutions.
Work with cross functional stakeholder teams to create leading-edge, cost-effective products and services.
Lead negotiations on commodity/service purchase agreements on a national and international platform.
Utilize spend tool and related software to create and ensure compliance with key metrics for internal and supplier performance.

Develop communication and implementation plan and work with stakeholders to ensure agreements and processes are adhered to across Wonderful Citrus.

Develop metrics, including external benchmarks, to monitor performance and allow for data-driven decision making.
Manage and track supplier performance and ensure quality, service, support, and regulatory standards are met.
Prepare and present strategic sourcing strategies to senior and executive management.
Coach, mentor and develop staff, including preparing and conducting employee performance reviews.
Create and issue RFPs for all sourcing related projects.
Qualifications

Here's what you'll bring to the table:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required. MBA preferred.

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the sourcing and product development of a broad range of commodities and services on a global basis.

3-5 years of experience managing staff in a supply chain organization.
One or more related certifications (CPSM, ISM, CSCP, APICs) preferred.
Detailed background in Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO), Indirect and/or Farming spend a plus.
Integrity, honesty, and the drive to do what's best for the business.
Superior problem solving and analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative).
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of global sourcing trends and best practices.
Strong command of systems including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management, and MS Office Suite

Pay Range:
$165,000 - $175,000 andmay include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
