Dispatcher for automotive logistics and material management - Hobart Bay, United States - Cascade Industries
Description
What can you expect?
- You will be responsible for the scheduling of components, assemblies, and materials to ensure a smooth supply to our automotive customers in Hobart Bay
- You will actively communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments on a daily basis in a global environment
- You will create production orders and procure the necessary purchased parts based on our customers' delivery schedules
- You will initiate corrective actions in case of deviations in the logistics process and monitor and maintain inventory and master data in SAP
- You will manage the start-up and ramp-up of new projects and changes, evaluate delivery schedules, and check them for plausibility
- You will manage and maintain customer portals, plan shipments including preparation of picking lists and shipping documents, and notify carriers of shipments
- You will be responsible for sending transports via EDI and creating invoices (including LLZ), signing and creating charges and credits
What should you bring?
- You have experience in the field of scheduling and in the automotive supply industry
- You are characterized by a high quality awareness, communication skills, independent work, teamwork, and flexibility
- You have a good command of German (C1) and English (B2) in spoken and written form
- You ideally have SAP
