Atlas Molded Products is seeking
Production Associate - Material Hauler 2nd Shift for the
Byron Center, MI facility.

Material Hauler Primary Responsibilities

General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
Verify shipping and receiving of all materials. Inspect and package parts according to specification pages and record required information on inprocess sheets.
Maintain productivity standards and verify all job requirements of the final products with the correct density, material, weight, size, and shape within given quality tolerance to meet specific job requirements.
Verify equipment setup throughout the process; operate and power down manufacturing
Operate or assist with machinery such as, but not limited to hauling, wrapping, sanding, and printing equipment.
Cut, bundle, wrap, stack, pack, assemble and label materials per specific production instructions.
Knowledge of and ability to operate Prebreakers / Re-Grinding equipment to recycle EPS.
Perform any other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
Must be trained and familiar with general safety.
Must be trained and familiar with Quality System Awareness.
Must be verified by supervisor and be signed off on procedures needed to fulfill job requirements within 2 months of hire.
Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required.

Material Hauler Experience**- Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment helpful.

Material Hauler Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to write and speak English for safety and quality purposes.
Knowledge of, or ability to learn and use simple math and use basic handheld measuring tools such as a tape measure.

Material Hauler Education, Licenses & Certifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Prior experience in a manufacturing / industrial environment preferred.

Total Compensation

Second Shift positions starting at $18.7
