Essential Functions:


  • Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Monitors and responds to online reviews and feedback to maintain a positive organizational reputation while exercising discretion in public posts.
  • Tracks key recruitment metrics, such as timetofill, costperhire, and qualityofhire, turnover rate, to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
  • Analyzes recruitment data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Utilizes recruitment resources (time, budget) diligently to ensure actions lead to results.
  • Manages administrative tasks related to the employee life cycle, including onboarding, new hire orientation and offboarding processes. Maintain data into HRIS and auditing for accuracy and compliance. Exercises decision making in handling escalated concerns.
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and nonmandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, antiharassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Handles employmentrelated inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Acts as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 3+ years experience performing full cycle human resources functions.
  • 3+ years experience overseeing talent acquisition.
  • 1+ year experience in HR/recruiting for healthcare (e.g., hiring nurses, understanding credentialing, healthcare safety and compliance issues).
  • Valid and unrestricted California driver's license with a good driving record and personal auto insurance.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and ATS platforms, preferably Paylocity.
  • Maintains positive working relationships and fosters a cooperative work environment.
  • Displays honesty and mutual respect when in communication with others.
  • Knowledge of patient rights, confidentiality, and laws pertaining to health care, mental health, and substance use.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects, work relatively independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Flexible personality and a quick learner who operates with a sense of urgency.
*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
