    About the Senior Plant Maintenance Management Opportunity

    If you're up for a challenging role, as the Sr Plant Maintenance Manager, you'll spearhead planning, directing, and overseeing operations in the Maintenance Department. Your goal: ensuring the smooth and safe functioning of multiple recycling equipment and facilities with top-notch engineering practices. Managing a team of 16, including a 3rd shift Maintenance Supervisor, administrative specialist, and technicians over three maintenance shifts.

    Our Minneapolis Material Recovery Facility (MRF) is currently undergoing an exciting retrofit project as part of our company-wide initiative to enhance automation, throughput, and accuracy in our recycling operations. You can also check out similar improvements made at our MRF in Germantown, WI.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Execute preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
    • Lead and manage the maintenance team, including contractors and consultants.
    • Maintain equipment and facilities at optimal working conditions.
    • Coordinate maintenance tasks effectively.
    • Identify safety and process improvement opportunities through plant inspections.
    • Work on cost studies to enhance operational efficiency.

    Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, coupled with 7-10 years of engineering or maintenance experience. Proficiency in maintenance repairs, welding, motors, and familiarity with software like Windows, Excel, and Power Point are essential.
