Nuclear Safety Engineers are responsible for creation of NCS Documents, which comply with 10 CFR 830, DOE Standards, and client procedures.
Develop and maintain NCS documents. The engineer will utilize discretion and independent judgment. Interface with management and operations to resolve nuclear and criticality safety issues. Daily to weekly written and verbal communication with operations, engineering staff, management, and DOE staff.Bachelor's Degree
8 years' experience, of which at least four must directly relate to the required area of expertise. Experience supporting the development, maintenance, or implementation of UCOR and/or TWPC safety basis documentation is required.

DOE Q Clearance
Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.
