Are you ready for the next level of your logistics career? Nation's Home Medical Equipment has the perfect opportunity: we're seeking a Lead Warehouse Technician to help direct the workflow of our dynamic DME warehouse operation and ensure our patients receive the best service- or asset-related challenges, ensuring inventory is accurate by using the proper systems and collaborating with appropriate peers and leaders.
Duties:
- Direct the day to day workflow of the Warehouse Technicians
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse
- Ensure inventory is accurately recorded in appropriate systems
- Order inventory as needed
- Train and guide Warehouse Technicians
- Collaborate with the Distribution and Supply Chain teams to ensure a smooth operation
- Pick, assemble, and pack orders as needed
- Track, clean, and coordinate maintenance on applicable inventory
- Ship and receive orders per regulatory and company standards
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, including safety training/procedures and analyzing data to find opportunities/gaps
- Observe safety and security measures in the warehouse
- Lead team huddles and meetings to ensure proper communication is received and understood
- Adapt to changing priorities with the ability to pivot to achieve success
- Motivate and encourage peers to achieve operational goals
- Assist in maintaining inventory and regulatory compliance standards of the warehouse per the applicable regulatory/governing bodies.
Experience:
- At least 2 years in warehouse environment, preferably in healthcare
- Expert in inventory control practices and shipping & receiving procedures
- Ability to use our EMR and Office 365 software regularly
- Active driver's license is required, as the Lead Warehouse Tech may occasionally be required to move companyowned vehicles for loading/unloading
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving abilities
- Ability to work in an environment that is exposed to the elements
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (including, but not limited to, regularly lifting, stretching, bending, stooping, balancing, pulling, pushing, and carrying at least 25 lbs)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM with occasional weekends, depending on projects.
Pay:
$ $27.00 per hour
