    Job Overview

    • Would you appreciate reviewing medical records and conducting assessment questionnaires to aid Veterans?

    Description

    We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

    As part of the Disability Assessments, you will electronically review behavioral health records via a secure Web Portal and conduct a thorough assessment in person for each Veteran.

    You will also fill out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.

    The Licensed Psychologist DOES NOT make disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration is responsible for all disability determinations, using the DBQ findings.

    This position STRICTLY involves conducting Disability Assessments on Veterans. There will be NO treatment or medication prescription involved.

    The Licensed Psychologist will assess and review an average of 3 (sometimes 4) Veterans per day.

    The Licensed Psychologist will be engaged as an Independent Contractor.

    Schedule 1-2 days (8 am-5 pm)

    This is an IN-PERSON role.

    Requirements

    MRG Exams is seeking a Licensed Psychologist who:

    • Has a Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA Accredited program/school.
    • Possesses an active & unrestricted Psychology license.
