    Manager, NA Strategy - North America Marketing

    Role Responsibilities

    The North American Marketing Strategy team supports our North America Leadership Team (NALT) to tackle the organization's highest-priority strategic initiatives, identify continued near and long-term growth opportunities, and help shape the corporate agenda. Projects range from assessing emerging growth opportunities to portfolio strategy to long-term strategic planning.
    This position will report to the Director, North America Marketing Strategy with significant exposure to Strategy, US Brand and broader North American leadership.
    • Develop major strategy initiatives, including but not limited to: portfolio / category / brand growth strategies, marketing process improvement, and cross-functional efforts
      • Conduct complex analysis with analytical rigor, forming opinions on the "so what"
      • Collaborate cross-functionally across the company to ensure inclusion and integrity
      • Develop storyboards and presentations for the above projects, adapting for varying levels within the organization (e.g., marketing team vs. executive leadership)
    • Support annual strategic planning and integrated business planning process
      • Support long term category and brand planning
      • Identify key market opportunities for priority brands
      • Assess BI allocation across region / markets based on brand / market opportunities
    • Craft and deliver data-driven insights for delivery to executive teams
    • Work effectively in a team environment, both within the Strategy team and with cross-functional partners/stakeholders throughout the organization
    • As needed, support the implementation and monitoring of recommended strategies
    • Execute ad hoc strategy & broader Strategy team initiatives - this team is the one-stop-shop for developing Beam Suntory's North America leadership and marketing organization, meaning new / interesting projects are constantly surfacing
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in management consulting or 4-5 years in corporate strategy role
    • Exceptional project management skills (must have led workstreams in the production of critical project deliverables)
    • Strong executive level presentation skills (storyboarding, development, and delivery)
    • Superior analytical skills and financial modeling capabilities
    • Ability to influence and build relationships with cross-functional counterparts
    • Ability to manage ambiguity
    • Ability and interest in coaching more junior tenure colleagues
