Job Overview
As a strategic leader in the division, you will report directly to the VP of Operations and be responsible for the overall planning and execution of projects and daily operations.
This role involves managing client expectations, serving as the primary point of contact, and facilitating all customer communications throughout the lifecycle of projects.
You will oversee technical personnel, ensuring all team members are proficient in installation, troubleshooting, and safety procedures. The Director is also tasked with nurturing relationships with coworkers, customers, municipal leaders, and community officials.Key Responsibilities
Handle all customer communications for ongoing and new projects.
Recruit and coordinate contractors necessary for project execution.
Ensure timely service delivery and adherence to schedules by collaborating with the Operations team.
Initiate and manage kick-off calls involving key stakeholders from Business Development, Finance, and Production.
Oversee divisional billing and regularly review Profit and Loss statements.
Maintain critical milestone communications with customers to keep them informed about the status of their projects.
Foster a team-oriented environment and promote collaboration.
Engage in customer outreach to gather data on current inventories and services, assess new technologies, and identify the best solutions based on customer needs.
Assist in drafting customer transition plans and other related documents.Apply telecom project management knowledge to define business requirements with Operations Managers.
Maintain up-to-date customer and vendor contact details.
Monitor and track the quality assurance and quality control reviews provided by operations and construction teams.
Address and resolve issues to meet service deadlines.
Directly manage and discipline teams, handle recruitment, and ensure the safety and security of all employees.
Ensure compliance with all project management and construction standards.
Support all phases of construction and service deployment, including coordination of both aerial and underground construction.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comprehensive understanding of the telecommunications industry, including OSP and construction standards.
At least 5 years of relevant experience, with 10+ years in telecommunications or utilities construction preferred.
