Job Purpose

  • The Software QA & Governance Department under Digital Services Development division (DSD) of American Honda Motors (AHM) is responsible for operations and quality management of digital services and software products, including Connected Apps and Backoffice. The department also provides Customer Relationship (CR)/Call Center support and training, release approval, architecture, cybersecurity, and Divisional PMO/Admin services.
    Key Accountabilities
  • Program Management:
  • Strategic project management standardization of regional mobile app, BEV, energy, analytics programs.
  • Ensure best project management practices and standards are met and help the DSD business unit deliver maximum value.
  • Provide support to DSD business unit with portfolio management, training, resource planning, and project coordination.
  • Support the Team Lead on the SAFe and XDR and M-Flow methodologies
  • Process onshore/offshore resource Onboarding/Offboarding
  • ITSM Hardware requests
  • ITSM Software deployment based on role
  • Maintain historical log
  • Develop and maintain templates to ensure smooth and consistent practices
  • Offboard in a timely manner to ensure SOX compliance
  • Facility Access Permission Management
  • Complete Facility Access Forms for all new hires
  • Submit Physical Security Access Requests via PowerApps
  • Keep record of all Digital Services & Marketing member's access levels such as secure location and afterhours access
  • Coordinate with Corporate Security Badge & ID to provide monthly PFA Access Continuation Rollover updates
  • System Access Control and Application Management
  • Purchase Requisition Requests (ITSM/Ariba/SAP)
  • ITSM PRR submission
  • Purchase Order Invoice tracking
  • Purchase Order renewals
  • Continuously evaluate processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency
  • Management of Jira, Confluence and SharePoint of multiple departments
  • Site administrator for division
  • Manage access requests
  • Vendor Management
  • Support and assist with Vendor relationships
  • Manage Vendor contract / SOW management
  • Manage Vendor Invoice and payment schedule
  • Purchase Order Creation and Renewals through Ariba
  • Project Budget Services
  • Manage multimillion Appropriation Requests (AR)
  • Invoice / Budget tracking and management
  • Data Management and Documentation
  • Create and Catalogue Standard Operating Procedures
  • Maintain and control data and filing systems

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, related discipline, or have equivalent experience
    Minimum Experience:
  • Strong customer-focused and quality mind-set
  • 3+ years of experience in business, administrative work, or research roles
  • 23 years of Project Planning, Automotive, Telematics/Connected Vehicle or Consumer Electronics/IoT experience desired
    Other Job-Specific Skills:
  • Systems: JIRA, Confluence, Clarity, SharePoint, Fieldglass, Success Factors
  • Strong communications and relationship
