Job Summary:

Responsible for developing, monitoring, and closing new business deals with new clients in the biotech in an assigned territory.


Essential Functions:


  • Develop sales strategy for the assigned territory in collaboration with Global Director Business Development
  • Develop relationships with potential customers in the biotech industry within the assigned territory, leading into signed agreements for clinical research in all phases
  • Identify target clients and facilitate meetings with decision makers
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and sign new contracts according to annual objectives
  • Prepare proposals in coordination with employees in company's global sites
  • Monitor the internal progress of proposals, from submission to signature of the contract
  • Report biweekly progress and meetings with clients
  • Prepare personalized presentations for client meetings
  • Participate in the development and execution of marketing plan to promote the company within the target clients

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of CRO/Pharma industry and services offered by Genesis Drug Discovery & Development/JSS Medical Research
  • Demonstrated and accessible network of contacts with decision makers
  • Ability to build and strengthen relationships with decision makers
  • Effectively communicate and present ideas in verbal and written form
  • Track record in achieving goals and revenue targets
  • Strategic thinking
  • Selfmotivated
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry & global trends
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practice
  • Salesforce software
  • Medical terminology

Experience and Education:


  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences Areas or Business Administration
  • At least 3 years' experience in the industry
  • Previous experience in business
