For our department "Product Development" in Morristown, IN, we are currently looking for a:

Packaging Project Manager (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

  • Project/team leader in product development
  • Establishment and management of a department and crosssite working group in production, procurement, and logistics
  • Revision and optimization of existing packaging systems (ratio sustainability process suitability)
  • Standardization of packaging for the TECE group: reduction of complexity, cost reduction, assembly friendliness, logistical optimization
  • Development of sustainability expertise in collaboration with other technical functions in quality management or procurement to optimize packaging in production, function, logistics, and recycling

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed studies in industrial engineering (m/f/d) or a comparable degree
  • Ideally, experience in optimizing packaging based on sustainability criteria
  • Experience in qualifying packaging systems in terms of testing and simulation methods to ensure functionality
  • Very good experience working with an ERP system, preferably SAP
  • Strong communication and moderation skills
  • Very good experience in methodical and conceptual project work
  • Very good knowledge of English
