WeEngage is excited to partner with one of Germany's top CleanTech startups, which is set to revolutionize the optimization of renewable energy assets.

As we transition from traditional energy sources to renewable energy, companies need support to make this change. A Munich-based company is developing a product that will bring us closer to a decentralized energy network.

As the Head of Engineering, your main responsibility will be to support the engineers, create the architecture, and collaborate with the data science and backend engineering teams.

What will your role entail?

  • Leading the data science and backend engineering teams
  • Recruiting, expanding, and developing the team, and attracting new talent to the company
  • Implementing best practices for optimization and performance
  • Improving communication between the data science and backend engineering teams
  • Providing technical support to your team and developers
  • Removing obstacles for the engineers and empowering them to do their best work
  • Contributing to product direction and new features
  • Applying your knowledge to directly impact our planet

Tech stack:

  • Python (algorithmic and object-oriented development)
  • Data science or experience managing
