    Description


    Insight Global is looking to hire a Low Voltage Technician for a contract for a client of ours in Savannah, GA.

    This technician will de-install Network Equipment for the client on Tuesday, June 18th.

    Teams will be used for the project and for all communications so this technician must be able to install Teams on their phone and be proficient in communicating with the PM through Teams.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Installation, termination, testing, labeling, and decommissioning of network equipment.
    • Running various cables in correctional institutions.
    • Performing service upgrades, reconditioning, and retrofits for low-voltage power distribution products.
    • Providing expert advice, training, and technical assistance to support staff.
    • Performing preventative maintenance on surveillance cameras, monitors, and other hardware.
    • Punching down and terminating cables.
    ***The pay rate for this role starts at $18/hour and increases based on experience and certifications.

    • Someone able to terminate, certify, and pull the cables, as well as complete the entire installation process for upgrading WAP projects
