    Description

    Hammitt is seeking a part-time (in person position) marketing intern to support our marketing team in Hermosa Beach, CA. We are looking for a hardworking, independent, organized and fashion savvy individual who will be given a first-hand opportunity to absorb the daily routine of the fashion marketing world.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage engagement on all social accounts by constant interaction with followers and potential customers
    • Draft and edit blog posts and assist with internal newsletter
    • Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, and all other aspects of the company
    • Influencer relations: assist with finding new influencers for potential collaborations (research, coordinating and sending product, etc.)
    • Assist marketing team with day-to-day administrative tasks, domestic sourcing for exclusive product drops and potential photo shoot assistance
    • Help organize and gather assets for projects as needed (bundles, online drops & collaborations)
    • Learn and become proficient on internal software systems (Gorgias, Netsuite, Shopify)
    • Assist in organizing marketing materials + research Marketing Trends & new brand activations
    • Assist team with marketing events including, but not limited to: Retail store, HQ, showroom, online, etc.
    • Assist in entry of press orders, as well as transferring samples & product pulls

    Qualifications / Skills:

    • Must live in LA area and commute to office. This is not a remote position
    • Available to work two - three days a week in person
    • Applied understanding of basic marketing principles and current trends
    • Creative problem-solving skills
    • Self-starter with ability to work independently
    • Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
    • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
    • Must have vehicle to commute to and from offices and events
    • Exceptional organizational skills

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • Currently in college working towards a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
    • Successful completion of introductory courses in marketing, business, or equivalent
    • Proficient with the use of Google Suite & Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)

    Employment Type

    Part-time paid Internship, Pay Rate: $17/hr
