Experience
Create a welcoming environment for all participants with special attention to new comers
Act in a positive manner that motivates participants to improve
Start on time and end on time
Teach class to member, don't perform. Class should be fun
Keep music in good taste and appropriate for genre
Safety
Keep group exercise rooms clean and equipment is stored neatly at the end of class
Volume control at appropriate level measured
Teach classes in a safe manner with modifications provided when appropriate
Inform supervisor immediately of all equipment problems
Quality
Educate within scope of knowledge
Be prepared to teach class to format described in the group ex schedule
Have music and microphone checked and ready for the beginning of class
Find appropriate coverage for missed classes (no canceled classes) and be willing to cover when needed

QualificationsExperience Preferred/Desired**- 6 months - 1 year actively teaching large groups

Training Minimum Required

Active Group Fitness or personal training certification from an approved provider that will be relevant to the class being taught

Licensure and/or Certifications Required

CPR within 3 months of hire
