Description
The Administrative Manager for the Project Management Office (PMO)plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing administrative processes within the organization This individual is responsible for maintaining efficient systems that support the smooth operation of the PMO In addition to managing day-to-day administrative duties, the Administrative Manager also provides vital support to the Program Manager and program staff


Education:
AS required Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of experience 5 7 years of administrative experience


Responsibilities Include:


  • Provides administrative support to one or more managers within a group, office or business unit including some or all of the following: preparing or proofing correspondence, forms, spreadsheets or documents. Schedules meetings, makes travel arrangements, and/or maintains inventory of office supplies
  • Identify opportunities to improve policies or PMO objectives
  • Managing workload by delegating tasks to administrative assistants
  • Assisting in the preparation of PMO reports utilizing subordinate staff
  • Assisting department managers in the compilation of budget and other PMO reports

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in or able to learn relevant software
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Work within wellestablished practices and clearly defined scope of work
  • Demonstrate initiative in moderate problemsolving with assigned tasks
