Responsibilities
:

Predominantly Russian speaking population, desired Russian language knowledge:

• Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate staff members
• Verify patient insurance information and collect copays or payments
• Maintain patient records and update medical information as necessary
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations

Experience:

• Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as Epic
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
