As a B&A insurance and Solutions Specialist your will, be assigned and report to the West region territory to offer sales & service for personal and commercial insurance products placed through brokerage division.

You will maintain relationships with the internal and external partners to ensure insurance business is placed and service within the operation of brokerage business.


Madison:
$60,000-$99,000


Boston:
$68,000-$111,000

Primary Accountabilities:


  • You will work with agencies to ensure business is processed including managing incoming workflow, initiating policy changes and managing policy documentation.
  • Provide field management and agents with vendor product support in their sales efforts by an internal sales support team.
  • Proactively communicate across divisions to improve sales opportunities and mitigate adverse risk by placing business.
  • Place business with brokerage partners by working with the field to understand the customers' needs and determining acceptability of partner insurance coverage based on underwriting guidelines or rules that best meet the needs of the customer.
  • Promote sales by initiating contact with field management and agents to communicate product sales opportunities, sales strategies and product or procedure changes/enhancements.
  • Maintain relationships with brokerage and alliance companies to maintain high customer service standards.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Excellent teamwork ability.
  • Exceptional client experience skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Personal & Commercial lines insurance products.
  • Experience communicating product benefits appropriate for each prospect.
  • Strong sales skills establishing communication and engagement with prospects through prospecting techniques.
  • Ability to manage a business territory.

Licenses

Must have applicable insurance licenses as required to do business with American Family in the applicable states that are supported or must obtain insurance licenses within 90 days of appointment.
