Clinical Liaison
The Clinical Liaison is responsible for establishing relationships with case coordinators, physicians, payors, and other referral sources.

The Clinical Liaison will ensure appropriate patient placement through clinical screenings and assessments in collaboration with both hospital Case Coordination and the Inpatient Rehabilitation Medical Director.

The Clinical Liaison works closely with hospital Case Coordinators and the acute inpatient rehabilitation admissions team to ensure a responsive and smooth flowing referral and admission process.


Qualifications Required:


  • Current Clinical License preferred in AZ (RN, LVN, OT, PT, ST, RT or SW)
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 2+ years of work experience in healthcarerelated sales/marketing.

Desired Experience:


  • Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Detailoriented, able to meet strict time frames.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • Computer knowledge and skills.

Clinical Liaison Responsibilities:


  • Conduct assessments to establish criteria is met and suitability of prospective admissions.
  • Cultivate relationships with sources to generate repeat referrals.
  • Participate in the facility's marketing education, ensuring knowledge of their resources, and maintain knowledge of competitor facilities.
  • Collaborate with facility personnel regarding referrals, evaluations, and marketing activities.
  • Provide facility tours and conducting presentations for potential referral sources and patient families.
  • Complete required paperwork, manage correspondence, and maintain data in CRM.
  • Review physicians' orders and patients' clinical needs, and gather clinical information.
  • Bedside assessments when appropriate to ensure proper full assessment for admission.
  • Communicate with family about facility expectations, while determining their involvement in the patients care and resources upon discharge.
