Description

Hours: 7AM TO 1PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY (6 hours a day 30 hours a week)

(there will be opportunity to get more hours if an occasional shift needs to be covered on weekends or weekdays)


We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to manage our reception area as well as all our facility activities, including responding to calls, scheduling different types of reservations for dog boarding, doggy daycare, dog grooming services.

Being a high-performing salesperson is going to be a very very big plus.
MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH DOGS OF ALL SIZES AND BREEDS

Required Qualifications:


  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to life 50 lbs

Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personality types:

  • Experience working or volunteering in either kennel, shelter, rescue or veterinary facility is preferred
  • Being a team player
  • Quick Learner
  • Experience as a front desk receptionist is preferred
  • Social Media Expiernce (not a requirement)

Responsibilities:


  • Know how to feed and walk dogs, play with them, and clean up after them.
  • Have a general knowledge of dog breeds; have substantial knowledge of dog behavior; have substantial knowledge of dog nutrition; have substantial knowledge of canines in general.
  • Cleaning the facility sometimes when co workers need help
  • Writing notes about who checks in and out
  • Creating Daycare, Boarding, Feeding Sheets, Grooming Schedule
  • Greeting clients and checking pets in and out of our system
  • Being able to schedule and book clients
  • Answering phones and filing, faxing, and copying as needed
  • Processing client payments and maintaining the cash drawer and petty cash ledger
  • Educating clients on the dog daycare, our amenities and procedures
  • Communicating all client questions and/or concerns to the owners and resolving them as needed
  • Keeping track of supplies that need to be ordered
  • Entering in and organizing all client files and information
  • Liaising with dog daycare assistants to ensure that feedings, baths, and any medical requirements for the pups are taken care of
  • Working actively with our daycare assistants to always ensure 100% client satisfaction
  • Tidying up the front office area
  • Sending clients photos and updates

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift
  • Weekends as needed
