    JOB SUMMARY:


    This role involves outside sales responsibilities such as promoting company products and services, as well as establishing and nurturing relationships with new and existing accounts. The primary objective is to help Sysco customers thrive while meeting the company's sales and profit targets. It may involve working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure customer needs are met successfully.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Acquire new business, retain existing accounts, and minimize lost opportunities to drive profitable sales growth within the assigned territory
    • Identify and qualify potential customers according to company objectives
    • Understand customer requirements and offer appropriate products and services
    • Stay updated on market trends, recommend products based on customer needs, and share relevant information with customers
    • Provide product information, training, and support to customers
    • Manage customer accounts and resolve any issues related to orders or deliveries
    • Participate in sales meetings, events, and ongoing training sessions
    • Assist in training new employees
    • Analyze sales data and prepare reports
    • Handle administrative tasks related to sales operations

    QUALIFICATIONS


    Required Education/Experience:


    Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field OR High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of experience in Restaurant Management, B2B, or outside sales, or equivalent relevant experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Fluency in multiple languages
    • Previous experience in Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, or as a Chef

    Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

    • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
    • Current automobile insurance meeting specified liability requirements

    Requirement:

    • Pass pre-employment screening (Drug Test, Background Check)
    • Agree to Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement
    • Reside in or be willing to relocate to the designated territory
