CACI is seeking a Business Process Consultant/Transformation
Advisor to work as part of an integrated team leading growth and change for the Naval Sustainment Systems – Shipyards (NSS-SY), NAVSEA Transformation Office (NTO) Organization Continued Operations project located in Washington, DC.
This entails development of strategic partnerships with military flag level leadership, government, CACI and sub-contractors, advising and driving transformative process improvement initiatives to reach objectives.
This requires onsite presence at the Washington Navy Yard to support a dynamic and fast-moving team of innovators by providing strategic and operational support.
This position will also be responsible for supporting as-is assessments of internal and external organizational engagement practices, interpreting data analysis to guide decision making, researching best practices, mapping processes, and developing/recommending alternative solutions for improvement.

Develop and influence a systematic approach to optimize performance and modernize complex business processes to improve organizational outcomes.
Executive presence—Ability to negotiate, facilitate and influence business decisions in collaboration with senior leaders of both the NAVSEA organization, CACI and business partners.
Advise senior leadership on innovative strategies and industry best practices and methods to improve processes and drive transformational change in alignment with organizational goals.
Draft and review statements of work, white papers, and other routine correspondence.
Lead planning, execution and close-out actions for routine meetings, cross-functional off-site meetings, teleconferences, and Strategic Planning Sessions.
Work with CACI teammates to establish, track, assess, and
internally/externally
report metrics related to stakeholder goals and objectives. Ensure alignment with Shipyard/Command initiatives.
Provide tools and methods to aid decision making, Shipyard/Command management, and action planning.
Deliver regular status and findings reports capturing the actions, progress, and way-forward recommendations.
Provide administrative support as/when needed, e.g., draft meeting minutes, draft work products in multiple formats, perform data collection/entry, maintain and administer MS Teams workspaces, and complete research taskings.
Work independently with limited supervision. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
Work site will fluctuate between customer site (office, shipyard) and CACI office environment; on occasion at home site (with prior arrangements).
Physical Demands:
Normal demands associated with an office environment, including ability to work on a computer for long periods.
Work may sometimes be in an active industrial environment that may require walking long distances carrying backpack filled with work materials (and transporting materials, supplies as needed).
Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret security clearance.
Previous military service or previous work experience at a Naval Shipyard.
Minimum of 10 years of related job experience.
Experience in an enterprise business transformation officer/advisor role, ideally supporting a global organization with a broad portfolio in industrial operations and/or commercial manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in the preparation, selection, organization, and presentation of information in a concise and coherent manner.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to apply lessons learned to the real challenges and problems faced by engineers working on Naval equipment, systems, and platforms.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Degree in Industrial Engineering or like field, Process Improvement, Engineering Organizational Psychology or related field.
Strong engineering analysis background and experience using sound judgement in making excellent recommendations driving process transformation.
Discerning engineering judgement to address and resolve complex technical, acquisition, and risk challenges.
Experience with refining a system engineering process to speed capability to the fleet without sacrificing safety or technical rigor.
Training, experience, and/or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, Shingo, or Theory of Constraints
Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Experience with modelling software (Autodesk Inventor, Solid works, Solid Edge).
Enterprise Technical knowledge.
