Job Overview:
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Manage the prehire process such as extending employment offers, schedule prehire appointments, gather required documentation, and communicate stages of the hiring process with hiring managers and other primary staff
- Coordinate employee orientation and training development programs
- Manage biweekly HR Staffing meetings with the Operations department
- Inform HCS Staff members about referral bonuses and other promotions the HR department is offering
- Communicate with the IT department on new job opportunities in order to update HCS' careers page on a monthly basis
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding
- Cooperate with HCS, the licensee and the Department of Human Services in any inspection or investigation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
- All other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources or related field
- 2 years' experience in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proven experience in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
- Knowledge in job boards such as Indeed and LinkedIn
- Employment/labor laws a plus.
- Must be able to manage full cycle recruiting
- Strong knowledge of succession planning and employee retention strategies
- Must be able to sit for long period of time and work with many interruptions
- Must be able to travel to offsite job fairs
- Computer proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Phone systems
- Valid NJ drivers' license in good standing
- Attend HCS required orientation and inservices
- Must submit to a drug test prior to employment as well as randomly and for cause
- Must submit to a criminal background check and be determined to be not disqualified by the department of Human Services prior to hire
- Must agree to have a name checked against the Central Registry of Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and Child Abuse Registry Information
