Job Overview:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Manage the prehire process such as extending employment offers, schedule prehire appointments, gather required documentation, and communicate stages of the hiring process with hiring managers and other primary staff
  • Coordinate employee orientation and training development programs
  • Manage biweekly HR Staffing meetings with the Operations department
  • Inform HCS Staff members about referral bonuses and other promotions the HR department is offering
  • Communicate with the IT department on new job opportunities in order to update HCS' careers page on a monthly basis
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding
  • Cooperate with HCS, the licensee and the Department of Human Services in any inspection or investigation
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
  • All other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources or related field
  • 2 years' experience in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Knowledge in job boards such as Indeed and LinkedIn
  • Employment/labor laws a plus.
  • Must be able to manage full cycle recruiting
  • Strong knowledge of succession planning and employee retention strategies
  • Must be able to sit for long period of time and work with many interruptions
  • Must be able to travel to offsite job fairs
  • Computer proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Phone systems
  • Valid NJ drivers' license in good standing
  • Attend HCS required orientation and inservices
  • Must submit to a drug test prior to employment as well as randomly and for cause
  • Must submit to a criminal background check and be determined to be not disqualified by the department of Human Services prior to hire
  • Must agree to have a name checked against the Central Registry of Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and Child Abuse Registry Information
