Description
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), performs basic patient care activities.
Performs basic patient care activities as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possibly taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, eating, and ambulation.
Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean and orderly.
The primary purpose of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position is to assist the professional nursing staff by providing personal nursing care to patients.
The Certified Nursing Assistant has the responsibility of reporting any unusual occurrences, patient and/or employee issues, work related accidents to the Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses who are responsible for the delivery of patient care.
Strives daily to give all customers very good care and promotes Valley View Medical Centers' Standards of Behavior and other duties as assigned.

Valid Arizona Certified Nursing Assistant's (CNA) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) Licensure from an accredited school.
