We operate two manufacturing facilities in Lexington, KY and Moorestown, NJ that allow us to deliver a high-quality custom product at an affordable price with a quick turnaround.

What we do (that you'll be a part of):

At our manufacturing studio, our team is responsible for creating and assembling customer orders from our Retail stores and online business.

These may include beautiful pieces of timeless art, mounting a piece of clothing or a tapestry, or framing an unforgettable photo from an unforgettable moment.

Our team processes the orders from custom technology, measures all the inputs to the highest quality, and cuts, mounts and frames the art with pristine perfection.

We are detail-oriented craftsmen and makers who work with our hands all day to ensure our customers' prized possessions are taken care of and that the end product surpasses expectations.

We are a factory team who cuts, sews, builds, glues, measures, frames and ships our goods back to delighted individuals.


Position Description


The Art Supervisor is a master craftsperson and a technical leader who is responsible for ensuring our team operates with the highest integrity and highest artistry when completing a customer's order.

They are responsible for instilling best in class art safety procedures and role modeling the care and attention required to deliver the highest quality product.

The Art Supervisor works closely with our Operations, Retail, Product Development, and Customer Experience teams to drive customer satisfaction, talent development, and knowledge growth across our Art Technician and production teams.

They will help educate the team on each element of our production process and be an expert themselves in art receiving, mounting, assembly, art care and repair techniques.


This role is critical in helping our customers entrust us with their most valued pieces and give them confidence that Framebridge is an expert in art care.


Responsibilities

  • Train and upskill the production and art teams in proper techniques to ensure art and people safety, high quality and customer happiness
  • Serve as in the inhouse expert on complex and high value art as well as the inhouse expert on best in class techniques
  • Responsible for role modeling art care and rolling out processes that embed art appreciation throughout the factory
  • Utilize firsthand customer information for improvements in products and services
  • Work cross functionally with internal teams on process improvements, areas for growth, and product innovation
  • Participate in any employee certification programs and provide input and direction for training materials, methods and media
  • Provide recommendations on where teams can improve or optimize when it comes to quality, best in class process, and upskilling to the Operations Leadership team
  • Maintain a consistent presence on the manufacturing floor to observe techniques
  • Fulfill work orders that require higher level expertise and attention

Qualifications

  • Strong customer focus and understanding of customer needs
  • Deep appreciation and respect for the pricelessness of what we frame and what it means to customers
  • Detailed knowledge of endtoend custom framing process
  • Experience coaching and training teams to achieve business goals and high quality products.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with an acute eye and steady hands
  • Interpersonal savviness who uses diplomacy, tact, and builds rapports across different functions
  • Understands different art mediums and can discern what is needed to successfully frame or repair accordingly
  • Knowledge of different materials, adhesives, and other tools and inputs that make for beautifully framed custom art
  • Versatility and ability to navigate ambiguity, fastpaced environment
  • Natural ability to lead via influence
