This exciting role sits within the Business Aligned Technology, and reports to the Director of Cross Asset Technology We are responsible for the definition, development, delivery, integration with vendor platform, maintenance, and ongoing support of software within the FIX connectivity space

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the successful execution of technology projects in the FIX connectivity space including support and maintenance releases, functional releases and major product releases.
  • Design and own FIX Solutions for internal and external use, coordinating the deployment into production and leads release
  • Acts as a domain expert and owns the thinking around Connectivity Solutions and how it can be applied in the diverse environments within LSEG
  • Optimizes project work to ensure that technology design fits with existing product architecture and technology strategy.
  • Creates trust and credibility with customers/user community and works with them to identify issues and risks that may impact them.
  • Allocates and schedules resources in line with overall team, resolves issues, and prioritizes projects to meet the needs of the business.
  • Implements a customeraware culture for their team, ensuring close working relationships with Product, Project Management, Technical Operations etc
  • Builds an environment and a culture that encourages immediate response to problems and sets expectations and timeframe for resolution with customers or groups handling customers and raised issues.
  • Communicates across globally diverse teams
Required Knowledge & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in FIX Connectivity Development.
  • Experience in Java, Python, Shell coding.
  • Experience in Cloud computing
  • Exposure to Algorithmic Trading and Exchange Connectivity
  • Extensive experience deploying RapidAddition FIX engine in the cloud as globally distributed hub&spoke deployment in the Azure cloud
  • Significant experience leading software development teams, in a physically distributed environment
  • Indepth knowledge software development process, including waterfall and agile
  • Demonstrates excellent people leadership skills

Compensation/Benefits Information (New York applicants only):
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $156,300 - $290,500.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
