Part Time Accounting/Payroll Accountant


PGX, LLC is a professional services firm serving the many needs of its clients that range from risk management providers to retail stores.

Over the years, we have become a leading provider of back-office management services for our clients in the NY/NJ/PA region.

We are looking for a part-time Accounting/Payroll Accountant for a part-time position to manage the accounting records of our clients


Duties will include:

Responsibilities:


  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Contract maintenance
  • Administration of Payroll
  • Benefits support
  • Assistance with recruiting and onboarding
  • Provide administrative support to management as needed

Education, Skills, and Experience Required or Desired:

  • Experience in handling of confidential information
  • Experience in benefits and payroll administration
  • Proficient with Quickbooks
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff, clients and vendors
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Selfstarter, ability to work in a fastpaced environment while managing competing priorities
  • Minimum 35 years experience in providing accounting and bookkeeping services
  • Proficient with Microsoft PC products
  • Flexible remote working environment

Compensation:

Salary commensurate with experience.

Total compensation includes deferred benefit plan with match and profit sharing opportunity and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, life insurance and LTD.

  • Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, use tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, talk and/or hear. Frequently is required to stand and walk, and may need to use stairs, escalators, and elevators. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
