Summary
Manages inventory with purchaser for production needs. Operates grinder, grinding new profiles and re-sharpening current profiles matching production needs and goals while maintaining quality.

Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

Represent the company well in appearance by having appropriate Elipticon attire.
Communicate with Team Leads, Machine Operators and Order Entry on priority work orders for the day.
Operate grinder accurately to ensure quality tooling.
Maintain an accurate inventory.
Communicate with Purchaser and 3rd party companies grinding tooling.
Maintain and clean machines and work area.
Assist setting up tooling for Molder Operators
Drawing of profiles in CAD program
Flow to the need of others when available.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). No experience required but must have a valid Driver's License.

Language Ability
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, reach with hands and arms.
