Caribbea Station Restaurant a renowned restaurant in Paterson, is seeking a motivated and energetic Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring smooth operation of the dining room, and contributing to exceptional customer experiences.


Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately, offering recommendations and answering questions about the menu.
• Ensure timely and efficient service by delivering orders to tables, checking on guests' satisfaction, and refilling drinks.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Take catering orders and ensure all details are captured correctly.
• Pack and organize delivery orders for takeout and thirdparty delivery services.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables, clearing plates, and refilling condiments.
• Assist with washing dishes and general cleaning duties to ensure a sanitary and inviting restaurant environment.
• Work collaboratively with other servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure a seamless dining experience for all guests.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 experience in a fastpaced restaurant environment (preferred).
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work efficiently under pressure, and manage time effectively.
• A detailoriented and organized individual with a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• Proficiency in basic math and cash handling is a plus.

Pay:
From $15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
