At the Faculty of Information Management, the following position is available at the earliest possible date:
W2 Professorship (f/m/d) for the field of Cyber Security
Your Profile
You are a person who has relevant professional experience in at least three of the following areas and can teach their theoretical foundations as well as their practical application in teaching and represent them in research:
Cyber Security
Digital Forensics
Cryptography
Information Security
You have a degree in computer science or a comparable field of study.
You are motivated to rethink teaching and supplement it with innovative, especially online-based methods (e.g. e-learning and blended learning).
The promotion and education of young people is important to you.
Your Tasks

You represent the field of Cyber Security in teaching and research within the Faculty of Information Management at Neu-Ulm University.

You also teach basic courses in the Bachelor's and Master's programs, such as algorithms and data structures.

You are involved in applied research and development, technology and knowledge transfer in the region, as well as in the self-administration of the university.

You are able to offer lectures in English as well.
Requirements
You have a degree.
You have the special aptitude for scientific work, which is usually demonstrated by the quality of a doctorate.
You have pedagogical aptitude, which is based, for example, on teaching experience.
You have demonstrated special achievements
