Administrative Assistant

Location: Near Clifton Park, NY
Pay Rate: $20–$23 per hour
Type: Temporary-to-Hire | Full-Time | Onsite

Position Overview

Our well-established organization is seeking a reliable and organized Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations. This role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while providing essential administrative and logistical support to multiple departments.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional manner
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail
  • Greet visitors and ensure a welcoming front-office experience
  • Schedule and coordinate internal lunches and meetings
  • Prepare meeting spaces and update guest signage as needed
  • Serve as the primary contact for office equipment and service needs
  • Order, stock, and manage office supplies
  • Maintain and distribute an up-to-date company phone directory
  • Order business cards and other office materials
  • Organize and file company credit card statements and receipts
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, with potential cross-training
  • Assist with special projects for various departments as assigned


Qualifications

  • Prior administrative or office support experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Professional communication and customer service abilities
  • Comfortable multitasking and handling shifting priorities
  • Proficiency with basic office technology and software
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach
