- Management of complex program/projects ensuring that goals, requirements, and outcomes are defined and that the appropriate resources are allocated
- Monitor team performance to ensure that projects are implemented, supported, and closed accurately and in accordance with key milestones and established project standards are upheld and clearly defined throughout the entire process of each project's development and execution
- Foster positive working relationships with team, client personnel and leadership counterparts
- Prioritize tasks, set deadlines and assign resources to each project
- Track cost, schedule and performance, as well as prepare documents and develop project specific policy, procedures and report status to all levels
- Manage staffing requirements, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and execution
- Manage task assignments and oversight of personnel to ensure excellence in services delivery
- Prepare monthly cost reports and ensure such deliverables are submitted in a timely fashion and of high quality/accuracy. When appropriate, propose a plan to correct any cost variances or projected rate adjustments
- Prepare briefing charts, schedule meetings, keep records and record minutes, prepare after-action reports in support of technical reviews
- Ensure program compliance with government and corporate policies and mandates, and adherence to directives from governing entities
- Anticipate and resolves procurement challenges and problems, such as small business set aside goals, certification requirements, and acquisition strategy
- Work with LMI and LMI business partners to pursue new business opportunities
- Support business development and bid and proposal efforts for opportunities, bringing together capabilities across LMI to define a solution that meets and exceeds client expectations.
- Master's degree (MBA prefered)
- At least 10-years of professional experience
- Experience working with the US Army, Army Futures Command, and the Department of Defense
- Experience US Army IT policies and requirements
- Experience with US Army command control systems
- Experience with operational panning with the US Army
- Experience interfacing with senior military and civilian leaders within the US Army
- Deep understanding of the Army tech and innovation landscape including the Army of 2030 & 2040
- Ability to manage multiple military and civilian stakeholders at the GO & SES level across multiple organizations that are geographically dispersed.
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written including with Army senior leaders.
- Expert complex problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to rapidly adapt to a constantly changing program
- Must meet DoD certification requirements (SEC+ or higher)
- This position requires a current and active Top Secret clearance
- Master's degree or higher.
- Prior experience with Army Futures Command
- Prior hands on experience with Army communications hardware
- Prior experience planning as part of an Army internal Operations Planning Team (OPT)
- PMP Certification or other equivalent certifications
- Previous command experience in the US Army
