- Experience in endpoint protection, AV/XDR policy configuration, SIEM, logging/syslog, alerting, and Windows/Linux server administration for cybersecurity applications is necessary.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, and participation in situational tabletop exercises (malware, phishing, ransomware) are also desired.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning, identification, and remediation, penetration testing, endpoint protection/hardening, CIS benchmarks, NIST/Cybersecurity frameworks, and incident response.
- Competence in IT infrastructure components commonly found in large organizations (e.g., load balancers, network LAN/WAN, firewall, email, AV, SIEM, GPO, web proxy, application development processes, databases, Windows/Linux servers, Windows workstations, wireless, and 365 ATP/DLP).
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills with expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint).

Work Location: This position is onsite.
Job Description:
This role entails executing a broad spectrum of intricate security procedures and protocols critical for safeguarding information systems and assets against unauthorized access or damage, whether deliberate or accidental. It involves ensuring users comprehend and comply with essential security procedures and processes, as well as conducting complex IT data and security forensic investigations. The position also requires internal vulnerability management to adhere to regulatory and standards compliance. Proficiency in domain structures, user authentication, digital signatures, intrusion detection, and internet architecture is essential. Additionally, this role involves the implementation and administration of cybersecurity systems.
Required Skills:
The successful candidate should possess at least 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, including proficiency with vulnerability scanning tools like Tenable/Nessus.
Desired but not mandatory skills include knowledge of XQL, Python, PowerShell, and cybersecurity certifications.
