Description

• Program, set up, adjust and operate press brakes to form, bend, punch, notch, variety of metal parts.
• Set up dies and gauges, adjust ram stroke to form materials to proper angle and radii. May involve multiple passes for angle forming or compound radii.
• Work from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templates.
• Use scales, protractors, fixed angle and radii gauges.

• Knowledge: Shop mathematics desired; completion of technical school course in press break or machine tools desired.
• Experience: 5 years press brake program, setup and operate experience.
• Skills/Aptitude: Detailoriented, analytical, qualityconscious, organized, effective communication skills.
• Effective blueprint reading skills
• Has analytical ability sufficient to identify problems with the parts being made and processes through the parts are made and designed.
• Team player, able to work well with others when necessary, but capable for working on own and can be a selfstarter.
